Study of Torah has always been the sine qua non of the Jewish people. It is what defines us as a people, and guides us as individuals. The Rabbis compared Torah to water. We can not last very long without it. We live in an era where torah is more accessible than it has ever been in the history of mankind. With that in mind, we urge you to take advantage of the smorgasbord of classes and shiurim that we offer. If you need any guidance in fashioning a study program that will best suit your needs, and finding the classes most appropriate to your level, please feel free to speak to me at any time. Enjoy. ![]() |

Class levels: This guide lists all the classes offered in our Shul. It gives a basic description of each class. If you would like further information you can speak to Rabbi Alter or to the individual instructor. The course level is marked by the same colors used for skiing, moving from green to black. These colors refer to level of prior background required. A green dot requires very little background, whereas a black dot would require significant background. A blue dot would fall somewhere in between the other two. Note that the colors do not reflect on the intellectual level of the classes. We are proud of the fact that all of our classes are complex and intellectually engaging. |
