EDOS: Rabbi Daniel Alter

Rabbi Daniel Alter has been the Spiritual leader of the East Denver Orthodox Synagogue since 1999. A native of Toronto, Canada, he recieved his semicha from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary of Yeshiva University. He holds a Bachelors Degree from Yeshiva College and a Masters Degree in Medieval Jewish History from the Bernard Revel Graduate School. Upon completion of his semicha, in 1997, he served as Assistant Rabbi at Congregation Ahawas Achim Bnai Jacob and David in West Orange, New Jersey. At the time he was also an Adjunct Professor of Jewish Studies at Stern College. Rabbi Alter is the posek for the East Side eruv, and is on the Rabbinic board of the East Side Mikva.
